Ray Steeb

CEO

Ray Steeb, Founder, President and CEO of FASTTAC, has worked on this project from its inception when it began as a research project at Carnegie Mellon University. Ray is a twenty-eight year veteran of the construction industry having been Vice President and General Manager of the Pittsburgh Office of Turner Construction Company and President of his own commercial construction and program management companies from 2002 to 2007.

Ray began his career in field supervision on projects ranging in value from $3 million to $150 million where he obtained various levels of project responsibility. He then moved into middle management where he had total responsibility for profit and loss at the project level. Ray became the VP and General Manager of Turner’s Pittsburgh office in late 1997 where he took on P & L responsibility for the business unit. This unique experience in field operations, project management and business unit leadership provides FASTTAC with the insight and guidance of an industry insider providing solutions that address the specific challenges and risks of the construction industry.

Ray‘s considerable construction experience includes responsibility for projects such as the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, PA; One Mellon Bank Center, Pittsburgh, PA; UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA; Penn State University’s Information Science and Technology Center, State College, PA; Alcoa Corporate Headquarters, Pittsburgh, PA; O’Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh, PA; Federal Courthouse, Buffalo, NY; Buffalo Airport, Buffalo, NY; and Johnson and Johnson research facility, Rochester, NY.

Ray holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, a Professional Engineers License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.

Jim Mitnick

Mr. Mitnick has been President and CEO Ironwood Learning LLC since 2007 – Prior to Ironwood Learning he spent 37 years with Turner Construction Company and was Sr. Vice President responsible for the development of the Turner Knowledge Network (TKN) an online learning platform that included Turner University and delivered nearly a million hours of learning on an annual basis. Jim also managed or supervised offices for Turner in Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Somerset NJ. Jim is also President of the AEC CommuniteStore which builds and host company stores for promotional and safety products. He is President of Ironwood Development which focuses on the digital distribution of electronic drawings for Facilities Managers, Architects, Engineers and Contractors

Robert Gailus

Board Member

Robert Gailus (Bob) is a venture investor and advisor. He was a founding member in 1983 of Schroder Ventures/U.S., the venture affiliate of Schroders, the London merchant bank. In 1994 Bob founded Software Technology Venture Partners to invest in and advise technology companies and from 2000 to 2006 he joined with Bob Levenson, an entrepreneur and Fortune 1000 operating executive at ADP, Medco and First Data Corp., to form LENOX Capital Group, L.L.C. Since 2007 Bob has been the Venture Advisor to OgdenCAP Associates, LLC in New York City. Over Bob’s venture career he has invested in 70 early-stage companies mostly in the information technology and biotech markets. Investment exits have included IPOs and acquisitions by public companies including CISCO, ATT, Nortel and Dassault.

Bob is a graduate of Columbia College and the Columbia University Business School.
